considering the ones we sent in the past…
Taare Zameen Par, whichmarked Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s directorial debut, has been selected for its cinematic excellence and content. Aamir Khan and PVR cinema produced the film. Written by Amole Gupte, TZP was released in December 2007 and earned box-office acclaim. It is a sensitive and emotional story of an eight-year-old dyslexic child, Ishaan. Child actor Darsheel Safary played the character with great aplomb. For his superb performance, Darsheel was nominated for a Filmfare award in the best actor category along with the likes of Shahrukh Khan. However, Darsheel won the Filmfare Critics’ award apart from several other awards.
