Does Kareena have any right to gloat at the failure of LoveStory 2050?

It was recently reported in the news that Kareena Kapoor publicly announced that she was glad that LoveStory 2050 didn’t do so well and was almost gloating. The reason being that she had in fact first been offered Priyanka Chopra’s role in the movie, but wasn’t too keen on the script and so had asked Mr Baweja to make a few minor changes but he stood his ground like a true director. Anyway as we know the audience is pretty much divided with the movie, while some have suggested that the special effects and the efforts of the newcomer Harman Baweja are almost marvellous, others have resorted to saying that there are more special effects than substance in the movie. But if truth be told then does Kareena have any right to be so smug? As far as I and I’m sure many others remember Tashan was a complete dud at the box office and in my opinion was even worse. The Yash Raj camp have a lot of recovery after the release of that one. Though Kareena did look fab in the movie - so did Priyanka in LoveStory 2050. So far the score is settled. Lets see who churns out the next hit then……..

Yes,kareena has definately rights to gloat.She is far better than priyanka.Yes, may be she didn’t get so much box-office succes.but there is no doubt about her acting-skills.She has a great perfomance behind her like, chameli, Dev ,omkara,JWM,K3G,yuva,Refugee.While priyanka got box-office success,but what about her perfomance except Aitraaz. NOTHING.She did hit films like Mujse dosti karoge,Krish,Bluff Master,Don,Waqt, but this all films credit goes to films leading men, not priyanka.Priyanka doesn’t has potential like kareena to vcarry on films on her shoulder.This points hindi films directors are also noted.That’s why, the director who didn’t gave her 2 crore RS, now giving her 3.5 to 4 Crore rupees per films.It is happening bcoz of kareena’s improvment in her acting skill day by day, not bcoz she is from kapoor family.This thing has some logic too.
So definately Kareena is the best.That’s why she is always first choce for evry director like LS2050,Kal ho na ho,Black,Devdas.
I think bebo should have chek owns pocket rather then comenting on other. she is a marvolous actress, no doubt in that but her ego & senceless comments make her a non freindly celeb.

i think kareena does have da rigt. cauz love story was completely bs!!!! kareena luks great in Tashan n Priyanka didnt luk good LS2050!!!all she did was luk pretty n carried a teddy bear around!!! tashan was a highly expected flop too..but atleast kareena was more appreciated dan priyanka.

I absolutely agree….one can feel whatever they like and discuss it with their friends but its something else to announce it in public. But then I guess she always has been known to tell it how it is. If truth be told we’ll never really be able to understand what goes on in B-Town as its a complete mystery…unless ofcourse any of you are undercover actors/directors or producers here. lol… But what annoys me is the obvious b****ness amongst the actresses. Why is it that male co stars and actors are able to get on so much better and see competition as healthy??

Kareena is a very arrogant woman. Moreover she is very stupid. Does not even have an accademical degree. That’s why she left a handsome, smart, decent and nice person like shahid to go to an already married, above 40 and father of 2 teens man, who furthermore has got lungs problem due to over smoking. Yes I do admit that kareena is a beautiful lady (with her make-ups, don’t know how she looks without make-ups) but she does not have the right to take pride on the failure of a movie. Btw, about JWM.. she didn’t really deserve that award. Vidya Balan in BB deserved it the most. It’s only because she’s got the name ‘kapoor’ assosiated with her that she bagged it. It’s always as such in filmfare. Only the big names are awarded. Stupid film-unfair. It’s not nice to wish the bad luck of someone else, but kareena did it. She was happy LS2050 failed. I haven’t seen the movie personally though (and I’m not interested either) but still, it’s not a good thing to gloat on someone else’s failure. Btw, Priyanka is a very good actress, except that she was doing some bad make-ups in her last few movies (barring LS2050, for I’ve not yet seen it), and salaam-e-ishq.

Im not a Kareena fan but she does say some good stuff frm time-to-time!
The point is not who is better, either Kareena or Priyanka BUT that no one has a right to gloat like that!!! especially an actress whose career hasnt exactly been a cake walk! IT IS because of Kareena’s attitude that she hasnt been successful no matter how good of an actress she is.
I think Kareena is a nice girl, but she doesn’t think before she speaks. She forgets that she is a celeb and that people are watching her. Kareena does not have the right to gloat at the failure of LS2050 because people have worked hard to make the film. Kareena’s Tashan did really bad, but Priyanka didn’t gloat in public about it.

I’ve never understood why Kareena Kapoor is considered a talented actress, or why she has such a high fan following. She has yet to, singlehandedly, deliver a hit film. Jab We Met is really the only film that she can take credit for. When else has she done a film that has been appreciated by the public or by critics. Tashan, Main Prem ki Diwani Hoon, that stupid movie with Shahid Kapoor, that other stupider movie with Tushar Kapoor. Even her first film, Refugee, was a flop. She’s been a part of ensemble hits, like K3G, but that is hardly due to her roles or presence in the films. What, exactly, is her claim to fame? She has no right to gloat about anything. She has horrible film selection, barely tolerable acting, and her dancing skills are atrocious. The only thing keeping her in the media is Saif Ali Khan.

When Kareena left, Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Devdas, Kal ho Na people started to say each Film Kareena left becomes a hit.
may had hope LS2050 would be a hit, because Kareena left it.
with this saying, I think it would be nothing if Kareena said she is happy LS2050 Flop.
at least her bad luck of skipped that film is finish.

You buy something, pick it up, than decided you will come back to it. after a while some one take, and they bought it.
and when you went out side, you see that same thing you want isn’t working when the person try it. would you feel happy, and I bet you you would tell someone I am happy i didn’t buy that, or maybe a few days you talk about it.

Priyanka is a fab actress so do kareena so competion should be ther in the proffesional way. That defines what kind of person kareena is.
Who cares if Kareena is better then Priyanka?
Priyanka has the prestige and position Kareena could never dream of achieving. She has too much pride…and doesn’t give anyone just one chance.
Tashan was a total waste so was Love Story 2050 but it becomes hypocritical when Kareena’s position is not less than Priyanka’s.
