UTV’S SPOTBOY HAS A SLATE OF THREE FILMS COMING UP
After Aamir and Welcome To Sajjanpur, UTV Spotboy has announced three more films -- Aage Se Right, Peter Gaya Kaam Se and Pan Singh Tomar.
Aage Se Right is a story of chance, coincidence and real-life humour. Based in present-day Mumbai, the film spans over five days of panic, chaos and mayhem.
Peter Gaya Kaam Se is an action adventure with a romantic twist that tells the story of Peter, a football-crazy motorcycle taxi rider who decides to turn his back on Goa and quit his job. That’s until his sleazy loan shark boss Bosco persuades him to do one last job. It’s the job that will change his life forever.
Pan Singh Tomar is the true epic journey of a talented runner who turned into a rebel. From a small town of Madhya Pradesh rose an athlete who ruled the steeplechase event at the Indian National Games for 7 years in a row and whose record stood unbeaten for 10 years. His name was Pan Singh Tomar. But his fame didn’t stop there – he became even more famous or rather infamous when he gave up his running shoes and went on to become a baaghi and wreaked havoc in the Chambal Valley.

MALLIKA, IRRFAN STARRER TITLED 'HISSSS'
After contemplating and varying on a lot of working titles, the Bollywood-Hollywood film starring Mallika Sherawat and Irrfan Khan will now be officially called Hissss. It is produced by Vikram Singh and Govind Menon of Split Image Pictures and directed by Hollywood director Jennifer Lynch.
Director Jennifer Lynch is the daughter of 4-time Oscar nominee and 2-time Cannes film festival winner David Lynch. Her last film, Surveillance, was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and is being commercially released in North America by the end of 2008. Hissss is scheduled to release sometime mid-2009.

MITHUN - OM PURI IN 'BABUR'
Ridhi Sidhi Films P. Ltd. announced the launch of their production house with their first film, titled Babur. The first schedule started from 1st September and will continue till 10th November in a start-to-finish schedule in Lucknow, Kanpur and Kolkata. Directed by Ashuu Trikha, the cast is headed by Mithun Chakraborty, Om Puri, new-find Soham, while two top heroines are being considered. Others in the cast include Tinnu Anand, Mukesh Tiwari, Govind Namdeo, Vivek Shauq, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Sushant Singh.
The film has music by Anand Raaj Anand, is written by Ikram Akhtar, has cinematography by Suhass Khandubhai Gujarathi, art direction by Jayant Deshmukh, sound by Anup Misra, action by Abbas Ali Moghal and editing by Deven M. The film is produced by Mukesh Shah and Sunil Saini. Navin Parnami and Sanjeev Pahwa are the co-producers.
