Interestingly, the party that Farah planned at her house did not limit itself to only the actors who featured in the film but also the earlier members who did not eventually feature in the final product. Posting an image of the party on Instagram Farah added, “Had the most Epic #jojeetawohisikandar reunion dinner last night! #happymemories”.
Talking about the party that certainly brought back happy memories of the days gone by Deepak says, “It was great that Farah reunited the entire cast after such a long time at her place, it was absolute fun to meet everyone after ages.” Further adding about the party itself Tijori said, “Even Mansoor Khan was present. To have him there as well was so much more meaningful. Besides, we did play the songs from the film on loop and had a blast with really nostalgic memories coming back from the time we shot for the film.”
Last week at the ongoing MAMI film festival the cast of the film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar gathered for a reunion after 24 years. While the event itself was a grand affair with the entire cast of the film, including its director in attendance, we hear that Farah Khan who was an assistant director on the film planned an after party for the entire cast.
Deepak Tijori who essayed the role of Shekhar Malhotra, which was initially to be played by Milind Soman too shared an image on Facebook saying, “That was very thoughtful of Pooja Bedi (Devika) to have (Shekhar Malhotra's) us on each side .... JJWS bash at Farah's Place !”
