Akshay Kumar, who has many projects in the pipeline, has completed the Patiala schedule of his upcoming film Gold. The actor was shooting in the second schedule in Patalia and now it has come to an end.

Akshay Kumar announced that they had wrapped the Patalia schedule and he was touched by the warmth and love he received from the people. Sharing a picture while seeing off the fans, Akshay wrote, "Another fantastic schedule of #Gold comes to an end, this time in Patiala! So much love and warmth literally till the point of taking off... Nothing but grateful."

Directed by Reema Kagti, Gold is about India’s first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1948 at Olympics. The film, being produced by Excel Entertainment, will hit the theatres on August 15, 2018.
