The buzz generated by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period film Padmavati has gathered momentum ever since the first look of the film featuring Deepika Padukone was released last week. The actress looked regal and absolutely stunning, immediately upping the curiosity for the film.

And now, the makers today have released another set of posters, but this time featuring Shahid Kapoor. And he has surprised one and all with his great looks. The actor seems totally in his character with the long hair, the beard and that scare on his left cheek.

Surprisingly, the actor hasn’t been talked about much and it’s Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone who have generated maximum curiosity for the film. But Shahid’s look proves that he’s one of the most important factors why this film would be worth watching. Even for Shahid, this is going to be a landmark film. Till now, his films haven’t gone beyond Rs. 70 crore mark. Padmavati has the potential to be his first 100-crore-grosser.

Padmavati is all set to release on December 1.
