If one has been following Ranveer Singh, they would know that he has been sporting a beard and moustache for his role of Alauddin Khilji in Padmavati. Now, the actor trimmed his moustache and beard via a live stream video and he wasn't too pumped up about it

On Wednesday evening, Ranveer Singh made everyone excited when he said that he had a special announcement to make regarding his next big film, Padmavati. During the live streaming, he revealed that he has been stressing out to get rid of his moustache and beard that he had grown for the older version of Alauddin Khijli. Ranveer revealed that time had come to trim it as he was about to begin shooting for Alauddin Khilji’s younger part. He also shared a before and after picture and wrote, "Before Mundan - After Mundan."

Last time Ranveer Singh's moustache was chopped off was right after Bajirao Mastani. It was Deepika Padukone who enjoyed it while she trimmed his moustache. "Remember when Deepika did it? She was so happy! I don’t feel like that at all", said Ranveer during the live stream.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmavati also stars Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. It is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
