REVEALED: Emraan Hashmi was inspired from a local Rajasthan guide for his role in Baadshaho

For Emraan Hashmi, Baadshaho is a very crucial project. Baadshaho is that one film through which he can prove that he’s still one of the most bankable stars around. And looks like the actor is going to highly impress viewers, as evident from the trailer. Despite being a multi-starrer, Emraan Hashmi stands out and seems to be one of the big reasons to check out the film.

What has worked big time in its favour is his look in the film. The actor looks quite authentic as a localite from Rajasthan from the 70s era. The actor revealed that he drew inspiration from a local guide that he met while prepping for his character in Rajasthan. Emraan Hashmi said that this guide spoke a variety of languages, sported funky attire and had tattoos. He even wrote T-shirts on dhotis and teamed them up with pagdis. Emraan Hashmi was impressed with this aspect of the guide and decided to incorporate it for his character of Daliya. Moreover, Emraan Hashmi added that the guide helped the team is giving references for the accessories that the actor has worn in Baadshaho. These accessories are very retro and used to be worn by the men in the era of mid-70, in which the film is based.

Baadshaho also stars Ajay Devgn, Esha Gupta, Ileana D’Cruz, Vidyut Jammwal and Sanjay Mishra. It is directed by Milan Luthria and is all set to release on September 1.
