In fact, for this film, in order to get into the skin of his character, he has undergone some painful measures. Aamir Khan underwent permanent nose and ear piercing for his role in Thugs of Hindostan. Since his role demanded the same, the actor uninhibitedly decided to get a nose piercing as well as two ear piercing on the right. Although this is not his full look, we are giving you glimpses of what he has done physically.

The actor who had earlier gone under an exceptional physical transformation for Dangal has now opted for unique measure for his role. However, it has proved quite troublesome for the actor who is now having painful sleepless nights since a month as the piercing is high on cartilage.

Sources close to the actor said, “It's well known that how painful the nose piercing is. It hurts every time you breathe. In fact, one of the reasons people get nose pierced in young age is to avoid the intense pain. Even more painful is the two upper ear piercings, because of it on hard cartilage.”

The source further added that Aamir often lets out a cry when in intense pain on the sets. “It's been a month since Aamir has pierced it and it's still painful. In fact, he is often heard screaming out in pain when by mistake someone touches it. He can't sleep on his right side at all.”

Yet again Thugs of Hindostan promises to bring forth Aamir Khan in a never before seen avatar and what is also unique about the film is to see megastar Amitabh Bachchan sharing screen space with Khan. Also starring Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh, the film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and is slated to release on November 8, 2018.
