Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone just had a fairytale wedding in Lake Como, Italy, in presence of only their closest family members and the festivities have not ended since for this happy couple. The duo hosted a reception in Bengaluru and since then have been hosting soirees and parties back in the Bay. Yesterday, an exclusive reception party was held in Mumbai just for the media members and what will follow is a grand Bollywood style reception for all the industry insiders on December 1. Amidst all this, one can’t ignore the look of utmost happiness and content on Ranveer Singh’s face as he is seen posing with the LOVE OF HIS LIFE – Deepika Padukone who was seen elegantly blushing in his arms! It is an unlikely couple, many would say. But who said love comes with conditions? It is a perfect end to perfect romance. For six long years both Ranveer and Deepika kept mum about their love for each other and now finally Baba gets to wear his heart on sleeve and he does not hold back anymore. He said that it was just six months into the relationship that he just KNEW DP WAS THE ONE FOR HIM. He said, “Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately.”

1. On being FOREVER ready to marry Deepika Padukone

Ranveer Singh said that he has been ready for a while to marry DP. It took a while for Deepika to get on the same page. He said, "I've been ready for a while. I was just waiting for Deepika to be ready. It would happen whenever she had decided. I was fully ready and raring to go."

2. Lake Como secret wedding: DP's choice

Ranveer said it was Deepika's wish to get married at Como and as her partner, he made it happen for her. Because she deserves this and more. He revealed, "Whatever she wished, I wanted her to have it. That's the first step in being the husband of the millennium. Whatever her vision of getting married, I wanted her to realise it. Whatever she wanted, it was done exactly in that manner. She deserves every bit of it. I too deserve happiness and my happiness comes from her happiness. It's that simple."

3. On balancing marriage and career

Ranveer and DP are at the top of their game and marriage too is a big commitment but Baba is unfazed because he has it all worked out. He said, "I believe when the feeling is right, it's the right time. I've been feeling it's right for a long time. This could have happened three years back as well. Now that she's also feeling right about it, it's perhaps the right time now. When two people feel right about it, it's the right time."
