Another one is taken! Veere Di Wedding actor Sumeet Vyas, who became a huge web sensation after Permanent Roommates, has tied the knot. The actor married his longtime love TV actress Ekta Kaul in an intimate wedding ceremony which was held in Jammu on Saturday, September 15. While it was family and close friends’ affair, the pictures from the wedding definitely look straight out of fairy tale.
Sumeet, who most recently appeared in Veere Di Wedding, shared an official picture from their wedding where he and his wife Ekta Kaul share a hearty laugh. He looked dapper in a cream-coloured sherwani while Ekta stunned in a gorgeous maroon lehenga. They look so much in love while holding each other’s hands. “Couldn’t have been happier,” he wrote along with the picture. After keeping their relationship private for over a year, it was recently revealed that the couple was engaged and all set to get hitched.
Even Ekta Kaul shared a couple of beautiful moments from her wedding day and captioned them, "Mr and Mrs Vyas.. #foreverafter @sumeetvyas you are my happy place.."
Their quirky wedding card invite was hilarious yet heartwarming. Their card read, "S**t just got real. Holy S**t. We are actually getting married. Correction. Actually, we are getting married in a holy ceremony in the holy city of Jammu, and we look forward to your presence!"
On the work front, Sumeet Vyas was last seen with Kareena Kapoor Khan in Veere Di Wedding as her love interest.
