A day ago, Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s son Viaan turned a year older. The actress kicked off the celebrations but not by throwing a bash. Instead, she visited an old age home and distributed sweets and fruits for them. Shilpa Shetty Kundra believes that there is no better way than starting her son’s birthday on a special note by helping the poor and senior citizens.

Shilpa Shetty also went on to post about it on her Instagram page where she shared this video. She also posted a lovely message alongside it saying, “Keeping up with tradition of dinner at the #littlesistersofthepoor,an old age home . They have very few visitors and the joy on their faces when someone comes and visits them is priceless. Nothing more powerful than to start my sons birthday with Blessings..Thankyou for all your blessings and wishes as well instafam Loads of #gratitude #happiness #blessings #love #unconditionallove.”

If that wasn’t all, Shilpa Shetty Kundra was also very overwhelmed on the said occasion. She, in fact, shared another post – a collection of her and her son’s pictures. From the first day she turned mother to her son turning six, the actress seems to have been nostalgic on this special day. She once again captioned this picture collection with a beautiful message on her motherly love.

She said, “21st May 2012 A new me was born. 6yrs today.. The dichotomy of wanting you to be my baby forever and excitement of seeing you grow up and your achievements in this life..Difficult choices!! Want to hold you in my arms for longer today, like when you were a baby.. the toddler is gone ,now there’s a little boy and tomw there will be a young man in his place .. but you will always be my baby.. Happy birthday my son, love you more than you would ever know.”

Accompanying Shilpa Shetty Kundra to the old age home was also her husband Raj Kundra and the actress’ mother Sunanda Shetty.
