As expected, Golmaal Again, the big Diwali release, took an earth-shattering opening across the country. The film has spread cheer for the audiences and also its makers, exhibitors and the industry at large. Director Rohit Shetty along with the film’s actors – Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu – visited Mumbai’s popular single screen, G7 multiplex, also known as Gaiety-Galaxy, to gauge audience reactions on Sunday evening. Viewers went crazy like never before upon seeing the film’s team and that made it clear that Golmaal Again has been accepted in a big way.

Rohit Shetty spoke to the media at Gaiety-Galaxy and he admitted it feels great to get so much love. He said, “It’s a great feeling. You die and wait for this day. It’s actually a feeling I can’t express.”

When asked further about the huge opening taken by the film and the excitement generated by Golmaal Again, he stated, “I would just say thank you to the audience. Filmein toh sab banate hai. Humne bhi banayi. Sab ne mehnat ki hai. The credit goes to everyone – from actors to technicians. It’s not just my film after all. Yeh hum sabki film hai.”

Rohit Shetty also added that the wave of happiness brought by Golmaal Again in Bollywood is also something that makes him happy. This is probably because 2017 hasn’t been a great year for a lot films with many biggies even flopping big time. At such times, Golmaal Again has been a godsend. Rohit Shetty agreed, “The entire film industry is happy with the kind of response generated by Golmaal Again.”

Golmaal Again is the fourth part of the Golmaal franchise and also stars Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Parineeti Chopra, Tabu and Prakash Raj.
