Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who lost her father Krishnaraj Rai earlier this year, visited Allahabad with Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya to immerse her late father's ashes at Sangam.

On Saturday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her family priest performed the rituals after which she immersed the ashes of her father along with her mother and brother. After completing all the rituals at Sangam, the family left after a brief stay. The last time the Bachchans had visited Allahabad was when Amitabh Bachchan immersed the ashes of his mother Teji Bachchan along with Abhishek Bachchan.
On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Karan Johar’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will soon be working with Anil Kapoor in Fanney Khan. Abhishek Bachchan, on the other hand, will be seen in JP Dutta's Paltan.
