While Bollywood is perennially on the lookout of new talents, 2017 was the year when the duo raised a storm with their striking looks coupled with an impeccable style sense and a generous dash of grace. Yet to make their celluloid debut, Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan amped up the glamour quotient every time they stepped out. From flaunting millennial style sensibilities that range from gong traditional to taking those style risks, Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan engaged us consciously with flair of elegance and a whiff of confidence.

Nailing the cool girl at leisure look quite a few times, courtesy their rigorous gym workouts, Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan never flinched from flaunting their toned frames in their dishy workout wear.

Showing us just the perfect ways to pull off effortless styles, Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan made a strong case for non-fussy wear while travelling.

Wearing a halter-neck white slit maxi dress teamed with flats, Jhanvi Kapoor cut out quite a summery picture as she travelled with a large tote and a non-fussy hairstyle in tow.

Exiting the city, Sara Ali Khan was snapped teaming a white cold shoulder cut top with denims and flats. A black handbag, subtle makeup, and soft waves rounded out her fuss-free look.

Street Style Chic

Nailing the versatile high street fashion, Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan emerged as the style icons.

Jhanvi Kapoor looked stunning in a floral dress replete with a deep plunge and front slit. She rounded out the look with subtle makeup, a low back textured ponytail and large gold toned earrings.

Sara Ali Khan was snapped wearing a denim jumpsuit layered with a black shrug topping off the look with lined eyes, pink lips and wavy hair left open.

Luxe Chic

Dabbling in luxe ensembles, the divas flaunted their take on this style and pulled them off with an enviable aplomb.

On a dinner date with her mother, Amrita Singh and Sushant Singh Rajput, Sara looked impeccable in a satin River Island skort playsuit with cold shoulder cut, a waist belt and chunky bold strappy heels. She upped the look with delicately lined eyes, nude lips and her hair left down open.

Exiting a suburban eatery, Jhanvi Kapoor was snapped wearing a white dress with puffed sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. A multi-layered choker, grey metallic heels, hoops, black sling and subtle makeup with centre-parted sleek hair rounded out her look.

Risqué style

Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan also embarked on risky territory last year, pulling off styles that could have quickly moved into the tacky territory.

For a fashion event in the city, Sara Ali Khan turned up in an exquisite Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation featuring roses-like design on the top and floral embroidery on the skirt. A look that could have easily been called OTT, we believe Sara Ali Khan does full justice to the ensemble.

Snapped with her mom Sridevi at the trailer launch of Mom, Jhanvi Kapoor wore a multi-hued fit-and-flare dress from Temperley London from their Resort 2017 collection. Teaming the dress with nude chunky Mary Jane pumps, a minimal makeup of delicately lined eyes, pink lips and blushed cheeks, large hoops and soft waves rounded out her look.

Creating a buzz with their effervescent take on fashion, the ladies are sure to notch the ante with their debut movies in 2018. While Jhanvi Kapoor will be making a debut opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother, Ishaan Khatter in Dhadak which is based on the 2016 Marathi language film, Sairat, Sara Ali Khan will be debuting opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath.
