The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal, that released back in December 2016 got a new lease on life at the box office with the film hitting screens in China a few weeks ago. In fact, since Dangal hit screens in China the film has been literally unstoppable at the box office managing to surpass other big ticket releases that hit screens alongside it.
Now after a stellar 21 day run at the Chinese box office, though Dangal continues to do brisk business, the film has now manage to create yet another record. in fact, Dangal has managed to surpass the collections of the previously released film Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that had raked in a staggering Rs. 1530 cr at the worldwide box office to emerge as the Highest Grossing Indian film ever. With collections in China being pegged at Rs. 809.76 cr coupled with Rs. 716 cr coming in from the worldwide market (excluding China and Tiwan) and another Rs. 32.34 cr from Tiwan, the current box office gross collection of Dangal stands at a massive 1558.10 cr.
