Shivaay has now entered the Top-10 grossers of 2016, after bringing in Rs. 5.40 crore more on Saturday. With collections touching Rs. 80.42 crore, the film has now gone past Baaghi (Rs.77 crore) and Neerja (Rs.75.65 crore) to find a place at No. 8 on the charts.

In the process, Shivaay has also crossed Ajay Devgn's own Drishyam (Rs.77 crore). By tonight, the film would have also crossed Fan and that would bring it to No. 7 position.
From this point on, it is a wait and watch game for Shivaay, on how quick does it land near the Rs. 100 crore mark. While that would eventually happen by end of third week, and that would also mean the only other instance since the Diwali clash of Jab Tak Hai Jaan and (Ajay Devgn's own) Son of Sardaar in 2012, when both films had done a business of over Rs. 100 crore.
