Raabta has crossed Rs. 20 crore mark after being in theaters for 5 days. The film collected Rs. 2.25 crore more on Tuesday and with this the overall numbers stand at Rs. 20.71 crore. The film should go past the Week One collections of Rangoon [Rs. 22 crore] and come close to Phillauri [Rs. 22.68 crore].
The film is collecting on lower levels. However, considering the fact that in the coming week there is no biggie arriving and Bank Chor is the only notable release, Raabta should be able to hold on to some screens at the premium multiplexes. Had there been a major competition, it could well have been a one week run for the Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon film.
Behen Hogi Teri is very low and brought in Rs. 25 lakh* more on Tuesday. The film currently stands at Rs. 1.84 crore*. It would go past Rs. 2 crore mark today and then add on some more moolah tomorrow before coming to a close. The film would soon find a showcasing on online and satellite platform. Theatrically though, it has turned out to be a disappointment.
All in all, this is turning out to be a low week for Bollywood films in theaters. One hopes there is some sort of recovery in the coming week, though it would be the week of 23rd June (with the arrival of Tubelight) when there would be a major turnaround.
