The manner in which Judwaa 2 has done well over the extended four day weekend, there wasn't much doubt around how it would hold up on its first regular working day. Though a few did suspect that it may fall steeply since a commercial entertainer like this won't have ample scope to keep doing well, that was not going to happen since the film has been accepted by the audience.
This reflected in Rs. 8.05 crore that came on Tuesday. Considering the fact that Friday had brought in Rs. 16.10 crore, the film has held on quite well, especially so since the David Dhawan directed affair has already seen a couple of Rs. 20 crore plus days. So far, the film has collected Rs. 85.30 crore already and that now leaves less than Rs. 15 crore to be collected in two days before the first week comes to a close and the century mark is hit.
Coming couple of weeks would be quite interesting for the film since there aren't any out and out massy commercial flicks releasing till Golmaal Again arrives on Diwali and that means at least in the single screens this Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox film will continue to play on rather uninterrupted.
