The month of April 2017 saw two of the biggest releases. One was Prabhas and Rana Daggubatti starrer Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which has shattered every box office record ever made by any film in the country. Another one was one of the biggest Hollywood releases, Vin Diesel starrer Fast And Furious 8.
While Fast and Furious 8 is shattering box office records internationally, the movie has not been able to reach the 100 crore club in India due to Baahubali 2's extraordinary business.
After hitting the screens on April 12 in India, Fast and Furious 8 opened on a very high note and continued to do brisk business. The movie collected Rs. 16.75 cr. in Week 2 and added only Rs. 1.3 cr. in Week 3.
After three weeks, Fast and Furious 8 has raked in a total of Rs. 85.59 cr. at the domestic box office till date and is unlikely to enter the 100 crore club.
