Filmmaker Priyadarshan's ex-wife Lissy who now insists on being addressed as Lissy Laxmi after their divorce proceedings came to an end on Friday has a few confessions to make about their marriage and the separation. Amidst several speculations that often haunt celebrity couples, before, during and also after the completion of their divorce, South actress Lissy decided to go public and revealed about how relieved she is about the processes coming to an end.

While she was all praises for celebrity couples who have respected each other's decision and feelings by going their separate ways and accepting a divorce by mutual consent, theirs has been a controversial one. Lissy Laxmi, who expressed her gratitude towards her children who handled the news well and have been supportive about the same, described the past couple of years as a difficult road but she is glad that the journey has ended and now she can move on.
Lissy Laxmi tied the knot with filmmaker Priyadarshan in 2010 and the couple has two children. During the initial stages of their separation and divorce, apparently Priyadarshan had maintained that he always looked at Lissy as a good wife and mother and it was him who was egoistic.
