Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na is gaining popularity for all the right reasons. It is surely Imraan's debut film but with the backing of Aamir Khan, one couldn't ask for more.

Incidentally, Aamir was directed in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak by his cousin Mansoor Khan. He even directed Aamir in Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar and Akele Hum Akele Tum. It was after SRK starrer Josh that Mansoor stopped making films and started living an isolated life in Coonoor. But when Aamir requested Mansoor to come back for his third production Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Naa, Mansoor came back to Mumbai to take care of the production.

Apparently, the leading lady, Genelia Dsouza was actually recommended by Mansoor Khan who is also the co-producer of the film. "I am happy that Genelia is a part of this film. I remember we worked together for an ad some years ago, she is very good in the film, and I am sure that she'll go a long way," says Mansoor.

Very few people know that Mansoor Khan had directed Genelia's very first advertisement for Parker pen with Mr. Bachchan.
