The moment Vashu Bhagnani finalized the script of his son's [Jacky] debut film, his director [Vivek Sharma, currently directing BHOOTNATH] was keen that the film be called KAL KISNE DEKHA. But Vashu was taken aback when he learnt that the title had been registered by Rakesh Roshan. The doting father that Vashu is, he promptly spoke to Roshan Sr., requesting him to give the title to him. But Roshan Sr. said that he too was planning to start his new film and was planning to utilise the title. If he didn't, he added, he would definitely gift the title to Vashu.

And that's what Roshan Sr. did!

A few days later, Vashu was celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary, which coincided with the launch of his son's acting debut. Vashu made a point to invite Roshan Sr. for the celebrations. Roshan Sr. was preoccupied with something and told Vashu that he wouldn't be able to make it. “But I do have a gift for you,” Roshan Sr. remarked, “It's the title -- KAL KISNE DEKHA. Please use it for your son's debut. It's all yours,” he said. Well, Vashu had yet another reason to celebrate that day!
