Here's a scoop and as always, it's first on Bollywood Hungama!

If you thought that the failure of a few animation films has put a stop to this trend in India, think again. Yash Raj and Walt Disney Pictures are readying their first animation movie ROADSIDE ROMEO, while Karan Johar is remaking his blockbuster hit KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI in the animation format, called KOOCHIE KOOCHIE HOTA HAI.

Joining the august company of the Chopras and Johars is Nikhil Advani, who has started an animation film called AB DILLI DOOR NAHIN. The film stars Govinda, Akshaye Khanna, Suniel Shetty, Urmila Matondkar, Ayesha Takia and Boman Irani in lead roles. What's the film all about? “It's a 3D animation film that traces the journey of four animals/birds from Mumbai to Delhi. Akshaye is a parrot, Govinda a monkey, Boman a bear, Urmila a leopard, Suniel also a leopard and Ayesha a cub,” Nikhil divulges.

AB DILLI DOOR NAHIN is produced by Nukhil Advani and Mukesh Talreja jointly and scripted by Suresh Nair and Girish Dhamija. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy score the music of the film that's slated for 2009 release.
