Bappi-da's career seems to be going full 'sing'. After Milan Luthria and Vishal-Shekhar chose him to do the Mumbai in Taxi No 9211 and A.R Rahman and Mani Rathnam zeroed - in on Bappi-da's distinctive vocals for the Guru number the composer-singer is flooded with singing offers.
The latest is a one-song offer for Nikhil Advani's much talked-about Made In China.
Interestingly the Warner Brothers-Ramesh Sippy production will get its primary music from Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy who have done the sounds for Nikhil's two earlier films Kal Ho Na Ho and Salaam-e-Ishq.
"But there's a song that only Bappi-da can do. He'll compose and sing it," informs Nikhil.
Made In China will have musical inputs from Kailash Kher. "So this would be my first multi-composer project," says Nikhil.
Also in the pipeline is a background score done by a Chinese musician for Made In China. "It's just a thought right now," cautions Nikhil. "But a though well worth exploring."
