John Abraham opposite Rachel Weisz in a Hollywood film

John Abraham has signed his first Hollywood film to be directed by Deepa Mehta. The film is inspired by an American Environmentalist Julia Hill’s fight to save a famous California Redwood tree. John will star opposite famous Hollywood actress and Oscar winner Rachel Weisz in this film titled Luna.
Apparently, environmentalist Julia was impressed by John and she thought that he looks like Antonio Banderas.
Talking about John’s character, Deepa Mehta says that he is neither Indian nor American in the film. His origins are not specified.
The script of Luna is written by David Ward who is a two time Oscar winner.
John also starred in Deepa Mehta’s last film Water which was nominated at the Oscars.
