Rehaan Khan bags a film with Nikhil Panchamiya

The new budding actor Rehan Khan who has just bagged Awaarapan with the Bhatts has recently signed a new film which is an untitled venture by Nikhil Panchamiya. He is quite excited about the film and says, “The film will be going on floors in May as soon after I finish the shooting for Awaarapan. My co- stars haven’t been finalised yet but the producers are toying with the idea of casting either Kangna Ranaut or Minisha Lamba. The film is a love story with me and a young girl in one story and there are two other stories in the film which deal with two elderly couples.”
Ask him how he bagged the role and he says “Well I have been meeting Mr Nikhil Panchamiya for over a year, first he was making another film but he had problems with dates with the actors for that film. And one fine day when I came back from Hong Kong after shooting for Awaarapan, Nikhil called me and said that he has a film that he wanted to offer me but wanted my dates in May. To my good luck I finish shooting for Awaarapan in April. The entire film is going to be shot in Bombay and is going to be a 42- day schedule”.

When asked about working with the Bhatts in Awaarapan you can hear immense respect and praise in the actors voice “All I can tell you is after my film Jaana – Let’s Fall in Love did not do well, but I still got great reviews from the press, especially my personal reviews of my work were great and that how I bagged Awaarapan. Working with the Bhatts is like working with family. They have given me all the luxuries which they give Emran Hashmi. In these 12 days of schedule they made me feel like I was a part of their family. And whenever Mr Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt need me, I will always be there for them. They keep you like their own child. The emotion with which they spoil you is love. The film has two boys and two girls. There is Emraan and Shreya and there is me and Mrinalini, but the pairing is actually the suspense. It is an action thriller and travels a lot from Jodhpur to Hong Kong to Pakistan.
