Feel the "Pulz" – Sandeep Chowta's Jazz concert

Mumbai’s audiences were on an all time high when composer Sandeep Chowta brought Grammy winning performers to jam at his concert Pulz 2006. The crew of performers, amiably called “Jazz Legends”- comprises of world renowned bassist Bunny Brunel, guitarist Frank Gambale, keyboardist Mitch Forman and the charming award winner drummer Virgil Donati.
The audiences moved to the groove as Jazz Legends played some amazing indo-western music at the Mumbai event. The performance was so impromptu and inspiring that the audiences in Mumbai gave multiple standing ovations to the maestros. A thrilled Sandeep Chowta said that getting these Jazz players together to perform was indeed an achievement and a matter of pride.
Bunny Brunel has worked with Sandeep Chowta and Sanjay Chitale on their album 'American Pilgrimage'. He said that he was amazed at the freedom with which Indian singers choose their notes. Brunel will also be working with Sandeep Chowta on his independent album "Matters of the Heart".
After the raging success of Pulz 2006, Chowta said that he plans to conduct his Jazz festival annually, each time with a new crew of international performers. We wish him all the very best with his Jazz movement!
