UTV'S plans for 2007

UTV Motion Pictures has ambitious plans for 2007. The corporate house presently has twelve projects in various stages of production and scripting.
Starting the year 2007 would be Anurag Basu’s METRO, starring Shilpa Shetty, Konkana Sen Sharma, Kay Kay Menon along with Shiney Ahuja and Kangana. This will be followed by director Milan Luthria’s HAT TRICK, starring Naseerudin Shah, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, Rimi Sen and Kunal Kapoor.
Mira Nair’s THE NAMESAKE will follow next. The film has been screened at the Toronto, London and Rome Film Festivals already. October would see the release of Ashutosh Gowariker’s JODHA AKBAR, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai, followed by Vivek Agnohotri’s GOAL, starring John Abraham.
Besides these projects, UTV is working with Rakesyh Mehra, Vishal Bhardwaj and Madhur Bhandkar [FASHION].
