The BBC World Service Trust, in association with Doordarshan and NACO, is currently running India’s largest HIV / AIDS awareness mass media campaign. As a part of this campaign, the trust is producing a weekly, youth focused, reality television show called Haath se Haath Mila (HSHM), wherein a ‘Yuva Star’ travels across India to spread awareness about HIV / AIDS. And the compelling factor is that each Yuva Star’s dream is to shake hands (Haath se Haath Mila) with his favorite Bollywood Star and to join hands with them to spread awareness about HIV / AIDS.

This week 2 youngsters who have risen above their personal ambitions and have devoted a whole year to the nation by traveling on foot and spreading awareness about AIDS will be meeting their favorite Bollywood star – Diya Mirza. And convinced of their dedication and commitment, Diya Mirza actually joins these youngsters for the last stage of their walk. She will join them at Faridabad for the walk till Delhi where they will get a warm welcome.
