UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions Pvt. Ltd.'s Mohenjo Daro is a period film that's set in the era of Mohenjo Daro and Harappa civilisations.

The story revolves around Sarman (Hrithik Roshan), who stays in Amri village alongwith his uncle (Nitish Bharadwaj) and aunty (Kishori Shahane). Despite his repeated insistence,... they don't allow him to visit the city of Mohenjo Daro, for reasons vest known to them. Then, one day, they bow down to Sarman's repeated request to visit Mohenjo Daro. It is here in Mohenjo Daro, where Sarman not just meets the stunning Chaani (Pooja Hegde), but also discovers some really shocking facts about his life.
